Large Vintage Turkoman Tribal Asyk Necklace circa 1940s. Silver with Gold Wash– Carnelian Stone. Rare to find a Complete Necklace. This necklace is a Turkmenistan tribal necklace. The necklace is made of silver washed in gold with carnelian stones. It is handmade with much detail work on both large and small components of the necklace. It is held on a leather cord. The clasp has a unique symbol impressed into the silver, perhaps the artist or tribe identification. The larger two pendants measure about 3.5″ long and 2.25″ wide. The necklace itself is about 31 long. It is rare to find a complete necklace like this. You normally find pieces of similar necklaces, but not the whole necklace. The necklace is in excellent condition. It has minor scratches and some tarnish on the back of the metal. If you have questions, please let me know.
