This is a fabulous unusual silver necklace I believe from. Unfortunately, I do not know it exact origin. The person who gave it to me was a diplomats wife and I failed to ask her where exactly it was from but I know for a fact it is at least 40 years old and most likely much older than that. It is silver but not quite sterling quality per my silver testing kit. But the flat arrow shaped piece register a lower quantity of silver. The dark spots on the necklace is tarnish not corrosion. It weighs approximately 79 grams. The necklace lays flat along the neck and collar bone. Each piece is hand madethere is a lot of craftsmanship in each piece and the construction. Each arrow–shaped piece is hand cut and hammered. The necklace measures 13 ½ inches in length around the neck and is 2 5/8 inches from the top length of the beads to the points of some of the arrows. One of the hammered arrow shapes is missing. When the original thread the necklace was strung on broke, one of the beads disappeared. I restrung the necklace on nylon thread and replace the missing bead with a sterling silver bead of the same size. Thank you for your interest!
